Although I am still in the process of finishing up my DreamLinux download, it is pretty evident that the DreamLinux team has provided a very useful tool specially to those wanting to make their own Linux live cd. The tool is called MKDistro.
The only drawback to MKDistro is that you build your live-cd distro by choosing either Morphix, Knoppix, or Mepis. That's it. However, MKDistro is interactive and you can remaster your live-cd iso and make modifications to your base distro. Up until I'd be able to get DreamLinux, I'll take a look at MKDistro's features more in detail. If you want to check it out, you can get it at the DreamLinux site. The basic MKDistro tutorial is at http://www.dreamlinux.com.br/english/tutorials/mkdistro/mkdistro.html My one cent. -- "A dog that has no bite, barks loudest."
