I am also playing around with bootable DVDs. It takes time to build the
livecd image but the larger space will help a lot (am using a 1.4Gbrewritable). 
 I am thinking of creating an installer/livecd combo using
different livecd (plus my own ) and different distros.


hmmm. nice. reminds me of those multi-boot rescue disks that we used to have
for win98 that includes options to boot msdos, freedos, drdos, and 4dos.
Which distros will you feature in your DVD? puppylinux? DSL?

Nitix and Shurdix might be a good addition too. Drawback for Nitix is it is
commercial. Shurdix is free and light.
