This meant errors would be raised for unrecognised barcodes that actually matched an item. Test plan: 1. Apply patch. 2. Edit an item to have the barcode "test_BARCODE". 3. Create a private item list, and navigate to add items to it by barcode. 4. Enter the barcode "TEST_barcode" (which only matches an item case-insensitively). 5. Verify that using this barcode successfully adds the item to the item list. 6. Prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/item_lists.t and verify that all the tests pass.
