A government spokesman says fighters from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia released the unidentified man in a rural area in south-western Cauca state. A spokesman at the German Embassy in Bogota could not confirm the report. The government spokesman said Cauca state governor Floro Tunubala was heading to the region to meet the freed captive. FARC rebels grabbed Ulrich Kuenzel, an employee of German aid agency GTZ; his brother Thomas; and Reiner Bruchmann, a friend, on July 18 from their car outside the town of Silvia, 200 miles (320km) south-west of Bogota. The European Union has warned that continued abductions could jeopardise a multi-million pound aid programme. http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_405633.html _________________________________________________ KOMINFORM P.O.
