I think this is the failing of education in general. I was taught that
High School and College were primarily there to teach students how to
learn, not any specific set of skill applicable to the "real world"
Now it seems that all schools have been turned into vocation schools
to churn out "workers" for corporate America.
Get me a skill, so I can get a job, so I can make a lot of money, so I
can retire and play golf all day.
