That was just to shut up the whiners... who cares if a chair is wobbly
in woodworking class anyway?

My grandfather could accurately split a twenty-foot 2x8 into two 
twenty-foot 2x4s with a handsaw (and by eye -- none of this cheating
by scribing a line down the length of the 2x8)...  but then, he always
made sure he had a decent handsaw around, too, as he wouldn't work with
crap tools to start with.
