Hi all,
I am trying to dual boot XP and Linux on a single
250 GB drive. I am using the procedure as
written by aashiks "How to Dual boot with XP/2000/NT
and install linux/windows" which is essentually
identical to the procedure in "Linux in a Nutshell".
Part of the procedure requires me to edit the file
boot.ini on the C: drive. However there is no boot.ini
anywhere that I can find. Is this because I formatted
the drive to fat32 rather than NTFS? Or is there
something else I am doing wrong?
Thanks.
Tom
I have set up several (XP | W2K) - Linux dual boot systems and never had
to fiddle with any files on the M$ side. My method is simple:
o Install Windows making sure to leave unformatted room on the drive
for Linux
o Install Linux. Obviously you should add Windows to the Grub menu. On
Fedora that is done for you.
o Done.
