I have to tell you, perfect length cables sure do look sexy.
But is it really worth the time? Why not use regular cables and tidy it

From an aesthetic point of view I think it's worth it. Besides,
"standard" power cables are SJT cable. SJT is sheathed with polyvinyl
chloride (PVC) and hence has a horrible memory effect to it. The cables
I make from SJO cable are oil-resistant rubber sheathed, and exhibit
very little memory effect and can be ran through cable channels and
still look pretty. It's also more flexible.
network cables or buying them. We don't make enough to be any good at
it. It takes me a good 10 minutes to make a cable probably. And then
sometimes they don't test out. I have a lot more faith in the
reliability of machine made cables.
Most people can't do a good enough job with making cables by hand to get
the same quality as the machine made ones. So yeah, i'd say buy machine
made cables unless you can comfortably and reliably put a cable together
in under two minutes. I can make cables that spectro as good as
machine-made ones, but most people can't. Many places sell cables in
graduations of 1' -- just buy a shitpot of all lengths and use them
where needed.
