I make all my own custom cables. I buy spools of 16/3 SJO cable and
IEC320R/P ends or NEMA[L]5-15P ends and make them to length. I get my
IEC320 parts from Mouser Electronics and the rest from garden variety
hardware stores (or graybar).
I have to tell you, perfect length cables sure do look sexy.
Just off hand, browsing through the Mouser on-line catalog, I don't
see any IEC320 separate cable ends. If I were doing this I think I
would buy the cables with IEC320 receptacle molded to one end and bare
wire on the other end. Then trim to length and apply my own NEMA
5-15P.
Tradeoff between available spare time and a sense of neatness.
