Is it just me, or has someone else noticed the following from the

Another list I was on had a guy who used Outlook, and he never hit
reply. He would always compose a new message, and copy and paste over
the subject line and then just start typing his thoughts in. He never
quoted at all (which puts the top or bottom debate into perspective)
until he started getting hounded about it, and then he'd start copy
and pasting over the bits he was quoting and put quote marks around
it. (And, in this hacked up way, he bottom posted.) But composing
the new message every time would totally screw up the threading of the
message.

A friend of mine goes the other direction. He *never* starts a new
message. We'll have a subject-specific conversation about something
and it'll end. And then days later he'll dig out that old message,
open it up, and hit reply to send me an email about something totally
different. He knows where the reply button is, but apparently not the
compose button.

But that doesn't matter so much, since it's a two person thing, and
we're friends.
