*Cough*. Rather not, but I'm totally sure this has been discussed on this list 
to the max already so all I'm saying is stfw for "embrace & extend" and look 
what happened to SyBase back then.

As for Distros: (K)ubuntu 6.06 LTS or 6.10 are nice, debian 4.0 might be worth 
considering, too, once it's released.
(Or, if you got balls, Slackware ;) )
