Ok, now that I get what LISP ith thuppothed to be all about,
my anthwer ith NO, you don't have to learn LISP, marthter.

If you want to avoid learning LISP, get yourself Mathematica.
It'th the one program on my Linux inthtallationth that I paid for.

I'm doing all my interactive, exploratory programming in it,
and compared to more bare-to-the-boneth LISP like implementationth
(Cadence SKILL ith the one I know), a lot more infrathtructure ith
available.

You could, of courthe, also try to get hold of an APL interpreter,
marthther :->
