OK, we can declare the cable thread closed. I bought two video switch boxes, one for the in and one for the out. I can now redirect DVD and VCR to either TV or Myth. I can see Myth on the TV with sound. All labeled switches that the kids can operate. When I get a chance, I'll trick it up in Dia and send it out.
My thanks to Gus et al for the help, explanations, and good humor when I was a crusty but benign old fart. BTW, I'm typing this on the Gyration keyboard watching it on the TV in the livingroom.
