I'm sure you've done this by now, but fyi. When liquid goes into something electronic, remove all power sources immediately (power plug and batteries). Any wet metal parts with voltage potential will corrode until they dry out, power is removed, or disappear. Tiny traces on PCBs can disappear rather quickly.
