Oh, dear, is there yet another reason I have bad taste? I'm a fan of the show. Unless you turn all uploading off, you essentially are running a public server when using a bittorrent client to connect to a publicly advertised torrent. HBO is perfectly within their rights to connect to the same torrent and collect the IP information and file info that the torrent client sends out. Bob should take the issue up with his friend (who probably just forgot he was still running the client in the background. A good reason to block the relevant ports on your router. I wonder if any businesses have gotten in hot water with HBO because of employees who bring their laptops to work.) Cox must be getting a lot of pressure to be so aggressive now. They only sent me an email. Dave Cook -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
