There are other places in the Bible where men are commanded to love their
wives. Marriage shouldn't be just about sex. In attempting to give

You're self contradictory here. You say that marriage is the only acceptable outlet for sex. Then you claim marriage isn't (just) about sex. Then you say the religion isn't sexuall repressed. At least one of these is not true.

You are confused.

Sex is a part of marriage, a small part. Marriage is *not* a part of sex. Marriage is supposed to have trust, commitment, sex, love, support, children, teaching, protection, among many other things. Try having regular sex with someone you *really* dislike or don't trust. If marriage has trust, commitment, love, and support, sex comes easily.

He did *not* say "religion isn't sexuall repressed". He said that of Christianity.

Marriage basically is about a promise not to abandon someone. I think
most people want a promise like that. Whether sex without marriage works
pretty well is a big question. I doubt it. I wonder if all the
out-of-wedlock children would agree with you that it works pretty well.

You think they'd prefer to not be born instead? Funny, thats the usual argument Christians use to be anti-abortion, its amusing to see one of them try to use it in the opposite sense.

Objection! Stawman!
Sustained.

(I think Gabe likes using strawmen.)
