That is only the Catholic Church's stance. And even many Catholics don't
agree with that.
That depends on how the birth control works. I think most birth control
interferes with the ability of the already fertilized egg from bonding
to the uterine wall. This fertilized egg already has the DNA of the
being that it would grow up to be if not manhandled (so to speak) out
into oblivion. God certainly didn't intend this.
