Well, as a ham who used to be able to run CW up through the mid 30 WPM when I was in the Navy, I would have to say yes! Some of the old timers could top 50 WPM, copied in their head. Some could go faster on a mill, or typewriter. A word in CW is considered 5 char long, but there are other definitions of a word as well. Thanks!
