Following up on this- I bought a new modulator (from Philips, to replace the radio shack crap), and its about 99% working (I get some interference at times leading to static and blurring of the top 10% of the screen). I'm assuming thats something with my TV, even though my PS2 works. Yeah, I need to get a new TV, I'm just a big cheapskate, and don't want to get rid of a working and paid for piece of electronics for one that isn't paid for yet.

Have you ever heard of [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It is free to join and you get posts daily of stuff people want to get rid of for free but don't want to send to the dump.

I have seen an awful lot of posts for free working televisions that people are getting rid of as they move up to Plasma or LCD televisions.

I myself gave away a monster 36" Sony Trinitron that needed repair. I let that be known up-front and the person who took it paid $100 to have it repaired. He got a very expensive Trinitron for a minor repair bill and I got a too-heavy-to-move television off my hands to make way for my wife's 42" LCD television.

For you CB's out there, it is pretty common to see older computers, and computer systems, as well as monitors offered for free too.
