Yesterday I got an email from RR announcing a no-cost increase in
download speed from 5Mbps to 7Mbps.
It said nothing about schedule, but on trying it (after cable disconnect
and power cycle, per email instructions), I still get the same old
4.8Mbps (via speedtest or speakeasy).
Called RR, and the tech was able to verify the current 5Mbps D/L rate
via remote diagnostics.
==> He says the email _should have_ said something like 'by July 30'.
.. So if anyone else is wondering what's up, I guess we should wait
'till the end of the month before griping.
