Because you haven't written a UFS2 filesystem module yet. :) I suppose this isn't something that a lot of people require, otherwise someone would have written support for it (or simply ported the UFS2 BSD driver).
Besides, if you recall, up until the release of UFS2, UFS disks from BSD were supported just fine.
