Let me put it more bluntly:
It's called "opt-in" vs. "opt-out". Opt-out is a bad idea no matter
*who* practices it.
If you can't be bothered to take the 2 seconds to go sign up for this
newsletter directly, you don't really want it that badly, now do you?
