/usr/bin/pdftosrc
/usr/bin/pdftotext
/usr/bin/pdftoppm
/usr/bin/pdftops
There aren't very many pdfto* varieties. There is "pdftoppm" which is
the one you need.
Also you need the folk knowledge that pnm "Portable aNy Map" will read
ppm "Portable Pix Map".
