But maybe I'm still asking the wrong question or asking the wrong way. Gus said that there are deals for CPU & MD for $85. Maybe memory for another $30. OK. But what chipsets do I want or want to avoid? Or can anyone make a recommendation? I don't need a barn burner. 1.5 GHz or so, working DMA, 1/2 to 1 G RAM, maybe an AGP for the old GForce MX 4000, at least 2 PCI slots for the pvr-150s, preferrably a local vendor. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
