Then you will have to stand pat. They don't make motherboards anymore
that will take the RAM that you have, which is either SDRAM PC-100
or PC-133. They are also about to stop making motherboards with AGP
slots for video and moving just about everything to PCIe (PCI express).

<sigh> I know the truth when I hear it.
OK. So I guess we're back to the VIA pc2500 w/ on-board video first
mentioned. Or stand pat.
The pc2500 board won't work for you if you need TV out, unless you are
using something else as a frontend like I do.
My guess is that this system has maybe a 2-yr lifetime before DRM, HDTV
etc make it obsolete. So it's do it now or not at all.
True. I bought the pc2500 board to be a low-power MythTV backend that
can also be a server. I needed a little more power that what a Kurobox
<http://kurobox.com/mwiki/index.php> provides and saw it as an
opportunity to play. I can add an ATSC tuner card for HD, I just need a
more powerful frontend for play back.
Well, I might as well price it. What's the best way to go? ebay? I really
prefer a walk-in store here in town if possible, because of the
possibility of needing to return.
Check out the ads in ComputorEdge. Sometimes Fry's has some combo deals.
CraigsList might have some used motherboards also.
