Frys has 300W ones on todays sale page.
Last time I was at Frys, they had a 250W model and a 2500W model with
nothing in between. And I didn't see any empty shelf tags either.
A few years ago, I got a 600W (1800W Peak) at Harbor Freight Tools for
about $85, and it has served me quite well. It has outlasted other
inverters twice the capacity (at nearly twice the price) from other
places. Last I looked, they were selling a 700W or 750W (2100W or 2250W
peak) inverter for about the same price, same brand too IIRC. (They
have other capacity inverters, but I wasn't paying much attention to those.)
I associate Harbor Freight with low quality on a lot of things, but more
than a few things have served me quite well. Low quality or not, their
prices are hard to beat. I got a very good quality 6" dial caliper
(.001" increment) for about $12 on sale (I think about $18 regular
price). It looks and feels identical to others I've seen selling for
$50 or more.
