They have a location in El Cajon, San Marcos, and Chula Vista (off 5 at L
Street, my personal fave). I get a lot of stuff for my biodiesel hobby.

I recommend buying walk-in because otherwise returns have to go through
the mails. Also, before going in, cut discount ads out of their catalog or
print them off the web site. The stores will honor any printed discounts,
which can be considerable.

IMHO their reputation for shoddiness is way overblown. If you're a pro,
buy pro tools by all means. But if you use a particular tool only
occasionally, HF is the way to go.
