When I rip, I like to take the raw wav's and burn a CD for later use in making mix CDs. For Amarok, I'm thinking of storing only mp3s for space saving. I understand the newer players can play mp3s (auto, home). Heck, maybe my current ones can ... whi knows? I know (because the 5-yr-old tested it) that my DVD player will also play music CDs. We haven't gotten beyond saving one Neil Young album, let alone loading the iPod. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
