Hey guys, don't know if this would be considered off topic, but if it is, I appologize.
I have Dish network service provided by my apartment complex, I want to get a DVR, but i the dish networks dvr won't work with the comercial service that we have here. I would have to gt my own dish and all that goes with it, wich of course they don't allow. So, what are my options? I have no phone or internet at home so Tivo might be out, and even so, would it work with the converter box? Would I have to be watching any channel I record no matter what solution I choose or is there an option that might work with the dish input? We have free movie channels too, but I'm not terribly interested in recording those, I work nights and would like to keep up with primetime programs.
