Well, as I understand it, the comercial installation here is only
equiped for these tuners, the DVR requires additional service of some
type that's not provided by the set up here. I could get my own account
and my own dish if I could get landlord permission, but I don't think
that's gonna happen.

And yeah, I did call Dish first because I was thinking I could just buy
a Dish DVR off ebay or something. They say it won't work.
