There is no such thing as "free schooling".
I've been to places that truly don't have free schooling and the results
are horrible. Lots of smart kids are left not knowing how to read or
write and having no future just because their parents couldn't afford to
send them to school. I am against many forms of socialism but our
socialized schools are definitely a good thing. I think a lot of people
don't realize that and fight to give the schools as little money as
possible and don't pay nearly enough attention to the waste and abuse
that goes on in the schools. More money for teachers is something I am
always in favor of also as it would mean better quality teachers.
ObOnTopic: And if we could get them to use Linux instead of wasting
money on proprietary software kids could get an even better computer
education and spend the difference on a qualified teacher!
