I keep getting stuck on the same files over and over with yum update.
There have been 3 problem files.
Some time ago, perl-ExtUtils-MakeMaker.noarch kept tripping out because
it wanted to update something from 6.xx-x.fc6.rf all over something in
fc7. This package comes from rpmforge.
Eventually, that one somehow updated and stopped appearing in the
results of yum list updates. But now it's back. And it's *still*
tripping due to wanting to update fc7 files to fc6 updates.
I guess the last time I tried, xine-???? (somesuch, I forget now)
finally went thru because it's not showing up this time. But it was a
tripping point for a very long time.
Currently, there are only 2 problem files, libdca and
perl-ExtUtils-MakeMaker. The latter is preventing me from updating the
rest of perl because the rest of the perl items want to update this one
for "dependencies".
Here is the result of my attempts:

Any ideas?
I think these may have started happening after giving fc7 the ability to
play DVD movies. Do I have to give up this capacity to make these
problems go away?
