This should have gone to the kooler a long time ago.
Well, several of us *tried*, but since our list software mangles the
headers, it's not an obvious task as to how to pull it off.
It's not as hard as it may seem.
First level, put [Kooler] in the subject line. Several on this list
employ a filter to trash any messages with this tag in the subject line.
Second level, direct your response directly to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Sparky will automatically take care of
the Reply-To: header when it sends it out to those who are subscribed to
the -kooler list.
In between those two should be one other, but Sparky seems to kill that
one. I tried adding the field "Reply-To:" and directing it to the
-kooler list. This would have the benefit of allowing anyone in the
current list to see my post, but if they try to reply they will have to
be subscribed to the -kooler list. Of course, he would have the option
to force his response back to the current list or to reply privately.
Occasionally, it is determined that a thread in the -kooler list belongs
in one of the other lists. In this case, it is appropriate to just
direct the To: field to the appropriate list.
