The meeting place we use at the San Diego County Office of Education is as
central as anything in Hillcrest. Isn't it?
it is probably more important to get whatever meeting is being discussed at
a location more central to population centers. And make it easy to get to.
There's alot of school kids near the SDCOE and the back side of LindaVista
but not a real population hub by any means. As far as being easy to get to,
it's difficult to get people to take more than 3 streets off the main drag
without thinking it is hard to find. The SDCOE is a bit off the main drag.
I personally have no problem with getting to it.
Most of that still applies to just about anywhere, including Hillcrest.
Plus Hillcrest is a traffic nightmare for most of the day during the
week. It usually takes me no longer to get to the SDCOE than to any
given location in Hillcrest - and I live in North Park. (Although it did
take me only seven minutes to get from Hortensia St. to Kansas St. one
day because I hit every green light from Goldfinch to Utah).

But I'm still trying to figure out who brought up the idea of changing
the KPLUG meetings as an SDCS project suggestion.
