So who is asking these kinds of questions? Where are the new ideas (if
any) coming from? .. or likely to come from?

Teaching is a valid way to multiply expertise. Can we brainstorm about
what needs to be taught that we have expertise about? Maybe we can train
people how to teach these things. Maybe we can coordinate and provide
support functions for those who can teach?
