Sorry, I failed to proofread my last post and make sure this part was
clear. Nobody coming to the Installfest is required to sign up for the
$20 semester-long course. The $20 course is a basic newbie Linux
class. The Installfest is separate from the Linux class and doesn't
cost anything to attend. The course and the Instalfest each have
separate sign-in sheets. The sign-in sheets are for documenting
attendance only, not "signiing up" for either one. There is no
registration or enrollment with the school of any kind required for
the Installfest.

There is a time overlap of two and a half hours, from 10:00(start of
installfest) to 12:30(End-of noob linux class) between the Linux class
and the Installfest. My idea was to have KPLUG do a presentation
starting at ten for the class at the start of the Installfest. There
would be no problem with doing advanced show-and-tell presentations
during the 10:00 to 12:30 period or, perhaps after 12:30, or both, if
sufficient interest were apparent.

Probably more accurate to say that the Installfest is setup for
whatever comes in the door. Could be N00b, could be advanced, could be
mind-boggling. Recently, fewer purely newbie installs have been coming
in and we've been getting more problems on previously installed Linux
systems. That said, the Installfest and the class are probably set up
to be the most newbie friendly.
