BTW, I'm working at Sony right now, and they use Linux all over, including
embedded in their TVs. So I guess M$ reserves this kind of harrassment for
little guys who make guitar strings, and stays away from poking sticks at

While Sony probably has pretty good compliance, your statement is also true.

Microsoft isn't going to poke a company that has a very sizable IT staff. Any company with an IT staff the size of Sony's (or IBM's or ...) is very capable of completely yanking Microsoft out of the company in about 12 months.
