Quoting [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
Email me if you are willing to convert some VHS tapes to DVDs or digital for $$$.
I can't believe (well, actually I can) that no one has suggested the simple answer of just getting a dual deck burner and letting it auto-dup them for you. You might be able to borrow one, but even if you have to buy one, as long as you're talking several tapes, the cost won't be all that high.
I had (well, have.. it's somewhere around here) a Toshiba unit that cost around $150 (it was on sale from $175 or something I think) a few years ago and I duped a few tapes to DVD.
If you need/want digital copies later, easy to then rip off the disk. -- Mike Marion-Unix/Linux Admin-http://www.miguelito.org Windows 98 is a browser stapled onto a graphical OS duct-taped onto an ancient character-based DOS with roots in the '70s. -Jesse Berst, Editorial Director ZDNet AnchorDesk Tuesday, September 8, 1998 -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
