UNIX(TM) is a trademarked term. Then again, so is Linux(TM). UNIX: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=3o2eu2.3.57 http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=3o2eu2.3.58 LINUX: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=3o2eu2.6.3 I don't like *NIX. I find it to be unprofessional. My vote is for UNIX and UNIX-like; or just UNIX. Of course, it helps if you have actually proven that it works on a UNIX system, such as Solaris, HP-UX and IRIX. Does anyone actually use IRIX anymore? -john -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-lpsg
