UNIX(TM) is a trademarked term. Then again, so is Linux(TM).

I don't like *NIX. I find it to be unprofessional. My vote is for UNIX
and UNIX-like; or just UNIX.

Of course, it helps if you have actually proven that it works on a UNIX
system, such as Solaris, HP-UX and IRIX.

Does anyone actually use IRIX anymore?
