As some of you know, Linux Networx got bought by Silicon Graphics Inc.

Any thoughts on how that will affect the use of Linux? or news of latest developments?

Are you under the impression that Linux itself has somehow been purchased by SGI?

That's not the case... Linux Networx was simply a vendor of supercomputing clusters built on Linux. Their disappearance/ acquisition is completely irrelevant to anyone except their customers and employees, and perhaps SGI's stockholders.
