Paul, I was the one that wrote about not being asked for a medical. I am aware of the problems if in an accident. I only fly my own aircraft. If I were asked for a med by anyone in charge and I cannot show one, what are they going to do? Pull my license, put me in jail? I'm 81 years old so neither one would amount to much. However, I am going to an FAA forum this afternoon for the new medical and I have not flown as PIC since I lost my medical in 1993. I have done a lot of flying from the right seat. I made the post to show that since you have to determine yourself, if you are fit to fly, why should you have to get a medical every two years?
