Luis, of course they can vary! That’s what KR building is all about. I recently was listening to the audio tapes of Ken Rands forums at Oshkosh from back in the 1970s that Mark Langford added to the KRNET. Even back then Ken mentioned modifications in the KRs at the time that builders had made to accommodate their own body size. Ken was a fairly small and short man so the KR was probably originally designed more closely to his body measurements. His KR1 was built to fit himself precisely. If we want to make minor changes that shouldn’t be a problem. A lot of people have made major changes in their aircraft as compared to the original plans and they fly just fine and much better in many cases. If any of us gets some wild crazy out of the ordinary changes in mind we are considering, unless we seriously know what we are doing, it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to run our thoughts by the group to see what the smart people think!
