Colin is having trouble locating proper size , one piece, spar cap material. A post from Colin suggested he may have already solved the issue but I recall when building my KR that somewhere in the plans or instructions from the wood supplier it instructed the builder to laminate two pieces together to get the required dimensions. If that is the case and someone can produce the written paperwork it might help builders in stricter locations to satisfy the authorities by showing that was an acceptable method. That was 20 years ago for me and my grey matter has firmed up a bit since then.
