My brain had not had lunch yet when I sent that post. (slap forehead)
When I did the test this morning I was powering the radio with the
backup battery, totally isolated from the charging system and main buss
with the alternator output disconnected and the engine not running.
Problem has to be in the radio so why did it not clear this morning
after 30 minutes and it clears after 5 minutes or so at engine start?
The more I know about the problem the less sense it makes .
