Even at 2.5.1, most of Solaris was built from the same source tree on
all architectures - we still know where the ON tree for 2.5.1 is, so
finding the 2.5.1/PPC sources for ksh88 would be trivial for someone
inside Sun.   (I know exactly where the Xsun sources for PPC are for
instance, though you'ld have a hard time finding one of the video cards
we supported on there a decade ago, so they are fairly useless - and
some of the PPC remnants didn't come out of our Xsun trees until a
couple of years ago.)

But the point of my post was not to actually suggest that be done, just
to point out that unless that's done, ksh93 is the only reasonable
possibility for /bin/ksh on PPC.
