When using the kvpnc and vpnc that comes with Ubuntu 8.04, I cannot successfully connect to the vpn with kvpnc because vpnc prompts for a passcode to which kvpnc does not respond.
I am able to connect by using vpnc directly with the same command line that kvpnc uses and entering the information requested. In particular, I re-enter my RSA SecurID number for both the password and passcode. One interesting thing is that I do not experience the same issue with Ubuntu 7.10.
