Guys, in most states, voicemail, and email are considered company
property, and can be monitored by the company for improper use. The
company should make it clear to all their employees that it's policy
allows monitoring of both, or either. But any equipment such as the
above are considered company provided equipment, provided for business
use only, and as such are not considered the private property of the
employee. That is one reason I have always supplied my own computer
equipment, and my own email and voicemail accounts in my career.
