CONS: *You have to dial a 9 pause before every number (some clients have trouble accepting this). *It uses an extension port that can be used for a phone, fax-detection is useless on a system no utilizing Auto-attendant. *You can use DIL, but then this takes up an incoming co line. *Some faxes are actually used as a natural PFT device for emergency. *And last but not least Panasonic does not make a Proprietary fax machine!!

For example, here it is used as a secondary outgoing line. If it's in use, it won't be used for that and instead another line will be substituted. As an incoming line, we have it programmed to go directly to one extension - the fax machine - so it won't bother anyone else. I don't know of any advantages of placing it ahead of the system as then the system will not know of it's state and attempting to use it while it is in use will ruin incoming/outgoing faxes. -- Larry [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
