Ford wouldn't sell you a car they wouldn't drive themselves
whoever sold you the equipment is the one you should be barking at
not us

I've got the Panasonic dealer who is going to set it
up and install it; that's not a problem, but in the
meantime I wanted to have a play with it and set up
some basic stuff, and also have the ability to change
things later without having to pay a maintenance guy
every time I want to change a setting.

I don't expect Ford to endorse me ripping my car to
bits, but I'd like to be able to change
the radio channel or swap the light bulbs without
taking it back to the dealership :-)

Carl, it's all very interesting about the dealership 'cartel'
not wanting anyone else to sell the stuff ad-hoc, but seeing
as I have the system now, I'd like to pay with it... :-)

n.b. who's Kelly ?

Regards,
