I don't see anything wrong with "getting it right the first time", meaning
to me that you anticipate needs, have extra parts, preconfigure and test the
system before getting to the site, keep your tools in good order (and
complete). It ought to look easy and routine because you are prepared.
Of course, a successful installation is a process rather than a one time
event and that usually means more than one visit, mainly because end users
can't be expected to understand the options and nuances of a new system.
The return visits shouldn't be because the installer forgot to hook up a
couple extensions.
